We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Social Media Manager to lead our social media efforts in Canada and Mexico. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies to enhance our online presence, increase engagement, and drive growth. This role requires a deep understanding of the social media landscape in both countries, strong analytical skills, and the ability to create compelling content that resonates with diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies for Canada and Mexico to align with overall marketing objectives
- Conduct market research to identify trends, insights, and opportunities specific to each country
- Create and manage social media calendars, ensuring timely and relevant content publication
- Create, curate, and manage engaging content (text, images, video) tailored to the preferences of Canadian and Mexican audiences
- Collaborate with the design team to produce high-quality visuals and multimedia content
- Monitor and respond to user-generated content and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Engage with followers, influencers, and other stakeholders to build strong relationships and brand loyalty
- Monitor and report on social media sentiment and address any issues or feedback promptly
- Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics for social media campaigns in Canada and Mexico
- Use data-driven insights to optimize content and strategies for improved engagement and conversion rates
- Stay informed about social media algorithm changes and best practices to ensure maximum reach and impact
Qualifications:
- 2 years of proven experience in social media management, preferably with a focus on Canada and Mexico
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing social media strategies that drive engagement and growth
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with an eye for design
- Bilingual (native) proficiency in English and Spanish is required
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills
